About

Medievalist, Gamer, Close Reader, Book Lover.

I am currently writing about John Lydgate’s production of occasional poetry in the late 1420s and 1430s. My work on premodern dance and games inspire creative (and playful) approaches to the survival of these mummings, disguisings, and entertainments in fifteenth-century manuscripts and beyond.

When I’m not reading or writing about medieval poetry, I’m writing about video games and medievalism. I am interested in the connection between player movement and narrative design.
